MOM'S DUTCH APPLE CRISP PIE 
5 lg. cooking apples
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
9 inch unbaked pastry shell
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix apples, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour and spices. Spoon into pie shell, sprinkle lemon juice over apples. Mix 1/2 cup sugar with 1/2 cup flour and cut in shortening until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake 45 to 55 minutes at 350 degrees.

Very Yummy!!! I rated a 4 because it took me almost an hour and a half but I also above sea level so it takes a bit longer for things to bake and what not, but still so yummy!!!
