STEW MEAT CASSEROLE | |
3 lbs. lean beef stew meat 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 1 pkg. onion soup mix 1/2 to 3/4 c. dry sherry (not cooking sherry) Trim off fat and cut meat into bite size pieces. Mix together mushroom soup, onion soup mix and sherry. Pour over meat in a casserole. Cook in 325 degree oven, covered, for 3 hours or until meat is tender. Serve over noodles or rice. Serves 8. |
