PEPPER STEAK 
1 lb. round steak
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. shortening
1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes
1 3/4 c. water
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 sm. clove garlic, minced
1 bouillon cube
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 green peppers, cut into strips

Cut steak into cubes or strips. Combine flour, salt and pepper. Coat steak with flour mixture and brown in shortening. Drain tomatoes, reserving the liquid.

Combine liquid from tomatoes, water, onions, garlic and bouillon cube with meat. Cover and simmer for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until meat is tender. Add Worcestershire sauce and peppers to meat mixture and simmer until peppers are tender. Add reserved tomatoes and cook for 5 more minutes. Serve over rice.
