APPLE CREAM PIE 
2 c. apples, peeled & finely chopped
1 beaten egg
1/4 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream or 1 c. evaporated milk
1 unbaked pie shell

TOPPING:

1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter

PIE: Mix sugar, flour and salt. To beaten egg add sour cream, vanilla and dry ingredients; beat until smooth. Add apples. Pour into pie shell and bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes; reduce to 325 degrees and bake until firm in center. Take from oven, cover with topping, return to oven for about 10 minutes or until topping is melted. (To make topping, work butter into sugar, cinnamon and flour until crumbly.) This can be made using 1/2 cup each sour cream and evaporated milk.
