1 (22 oz.) can apple pie filing
1/3 pkg. Duncan Hines Lemon Supreme Yellow Cake Mix
3/4 c. chopped pecans
1 stick butter

Pour 1 can of apple pie filling into a casserole dish. (I cut thick apple slices into smaller ones.) Cover with 1/3 package of cake mix (more if desired). Sprinkle chopped nuts over cake mix.

Melt 1 stick of butter and pour on top. Bake in a moderate oven at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes until light brown and bubbly. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt.
