HASH BROWN CASSEROLE 
1/2 stick butter
1 pt. sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 lb. frozen hash browns, thawed

Mix all ingredients together and put in 9 x 13 inch greased casserole dish. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and some pats of butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
