GRAHAM CRACKER CHRISTMAS COOKIES 
1 stick butter
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. evaporated milk
2 c. miniature marshmallows
2 c. graham cracker bits (dime size)
1 c. coconut
1 c. nuts
1/2 c. chopped red candied cherries

Combine butter, sugar, and evaporated milk in saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in marshmallows, and continue to stir until they are melted. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. If mixture becomes too thick, add 1 teaspoon evaporated milk to thin. Repeat as necessary.

Note: Have graham cracker bits, coconut, nuts and cherries ready before you begin the first step.
