PUMPKIN RAISIN CAKE 
3 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
4 lg. eggs
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. corn oil
1 sm. can pumpkin
1 c. raisins

Sift together dry ingredients. Set aside. With electric mixer at high speed, beat eggs well. Gradually add sugar, beating until thick and lemon colored, beating constantly, pour in oil with mixer at low speed. Blend in dry ingredients alternately with pumpkin. Beat until smooth. Stir in raisins. Turn into ungreased tube pan. Cool cake in pan. Bake at 350 degrees 1 hour and 10 minutes. Add 1 cup chopped walnuts if desired.
