BEEF STROGANOFF 
2 lbs. sirloin steak, cut in serving pieces
1/4 c. butter
1 can (6 oz.) mushrooms
2 cans (10 1/2 oz.) beef broth
1/3 c. minced onions
1/4 c. ketchup
1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 c. flour
2 c. sour cream (I use 1 c.)
8 to 10 oz. noodles

Melt butter in skillet and brown mushrooms for about 5 minutes. Take mushrooms out and brown meat in same skillet. Reserve 2/3 cup beef broth and put remaining broth in same skillet. Add onions, ketchup and garlic salt. Simmer for 15 minutes. Mix the 2/3 cup reserved beef broth in flour and add to skillet. Add mushrooms and heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Add sour cream when boiling, serve over cooked noodles.
