COCONUT PIE 
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring
2 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
1 can flake coconut

Mix flour and sugar well. Add milk and egg yolks (well beaten); cook until thickened. Add flavoring, butter and coconut. Pour into pie shell (cooked); top with meringue and bake in oven (400 degrees) until meringue is browned.
