SOUR CHERRY PIE 
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 c. cherry juice
2 tbsp. butter
3 c. cherries (well drained canned red sour)
Few drops red food coloring

Mix sugar, flour, and salt; stir in cherry juice and cook until clear. Line a 9 inch pie plate with pastry. Put in cherries, dot with butter, sprinkle a small amount of sugar, then the juice. Adjust top crust, dot with a little butter and sprinkle of sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes.
