CUCUMBER LIME PICKLE 
7 lbs. cucumbers, sliced crosswise
2 c. lime to 2 gallons water

SYRUP:

2 qts. vinegar
4 1/2 lbs. sugar
1 tbsp. salt

Slice cucumbers crosswise. Soak cucumbers in lime water for 24 hours. Rinse in 3 different cool waters. Soak for 3 hours in ice and water. Then remove. Pour syrup over cucumbers. Let set overnight. Add pickling spice to suit taste. Boil mixture for 35 minutes and can.
