LIME PICKLES 
1 gal. cucumbers, cut into chunks
2 gal. water
2 c. lime (dehydrated kind for pickling)

Soak above ingredients 24 hours. Wash thoroughly. To cold pickles add:

10 c. sugar
1 tbsp. pickling salt
1 tsp. whole cloves
1 tbsp. mixed pickling spices
1 tsp. celery seed
2 qts. vinegar

Add green food coloring. Simmer 35 minutes and seal while hot.
