Love to fix this for company. Easy and sooo good. We use small rolls and dip it in small individual cups of the broth. Eliminate some of the saltyness with low sodium broth or Herb Ox sodium free bouillon. Also use 1/2 the juice from the peppers.

BEST RECIPE EVER!!!!!! Only thing different is I actually cooked for 20 hours, per suggestion from friend, I put on at 10pm night before and 6 pm next day I can have on table for 6:30 dinner time. Only made once, only thing I may do different next time around is when I get up following morning I may go ahead and slice at that time so will have cooked all night whole, slice in morning and slowly cook, sliced for rest of day.

As good or better than any Italian Beef I ever ate in Chicago!!

However... by mistake one day I pulled a Boston Butt Pork Roast out of the freezer and used it instead of a beef roast. I will never use beef again!! I highly recommend this substitution...
