2 c. all-purpose flour 4 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 5 tbsp. butter (at room temperature) 1 1/2 c. milk Preheat oven to 425°F. Yields: 10 biscuits Time: 12 minutes Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in mixing bowl. Toss with fork until blended. Rub butter with your fingers until it disappears into flour. Pour milk into bowl and mix until it is a lump free dough. Drop a spoonful of batter onto baking sheet. Bake 12 minutes or until tops of biscuits turn golden brown. |
