I used ground chuck instead of the regular ground beef and fried the patties in my cast iron skillet and the patties fell apart. The end result wasn't very pretty, but the taste was delicious. I used two cans of soup, one cream of mushroom and one golden mushroom. Next time I will add around a half cup of milk to thin the gravy and will bake them instead of frying. Will definitely add this to my list of favorites.

I like to make a package of brown gravy and pour over the patty with cream of mushroom on it then bake it.

I needed a dinner idea FAST! I altered the recipe a bit: I used golden mushroom soup in place of cream of mushroom soup, added a bit of garlic powder to the mix, and did add chopped fresh mushrooms in the last 10 minutes. Fantastic! Served with mashed red potatoes and broccoli. The guys loved it!

Very good and easy, to speed cooking I cooked the patties on a Foreman grill then transferred them to a pan to cover with the gravy mixture and simmer. Added a little browning sauce to the gravy.

Liked it, my son didn't...slight variation, doubled the recipe, used 1 cup of stuffing (you know the brand) with the 1/2 cup of Italian bread crumbs, only 1 1/2 cup of onions and added some garlic powder (to my taste, because I love garlic) and used 80/20 hamburger...the bread crumbs soaked up the juices. It was awesome. Served it with dirty garlic potatos, sweet corn and brown gravey with mushrooms in the gravey. Thanks Cooks.com. Next time (yes there will be one) I will add more seasoning.

Very easy and tasty recipe. I didn't have any eggs on hand, so I added a splash of olive oil to the mix, and they turned out great all the same.

We love this recipe! I took the leftovers to work and shared it with one my co-workers and he loved it! I took the mushrooms and put them into the soup & water mixture that was used for spooning over the patties. Awesome !
