GRANDMA'S SALISBURY STEAK 
2 lb. ground beef
4 slices bread, dampened
2 eggs
salt and pepper
2 onions, chopped
2 sweet bell peppers, chopped
1/4 c. ketchup
1/4 c. water

Mix first four ingredients and shape into 12 patties. Brown on both sides and place in a baking dish. Sauté onion and peppers in same skillet meat was browned. Add ketchup and water. Pour over meat and bake 1/2 hour at 325°F.

Serves 4 to 6.
