CHRISTMAS MORNING CRUNCH COFFEE
CAKE
 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk

TOPPING:

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. walnuts
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Cream butter, sugar and brown sugar. Add eggs to sugar and mix well. Add dry ingredients, alternating with buttermilk. Spread in greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan. Cover with topping. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Serves 10.
