SOFT PEACH COBBLER | |
1/2 cup butter 3/4 cup peach syrup/liquid from can 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 2 cup sliced peaches 1 teaspoon cinnamon Preheat oven to 400°F. Melt butter and pour into a shallow 2 quart baking dish. Combine all other ingredients except peaches and cinnamon and pour into the baking dish over the butter; DO NOT STIR. Layer peaches on the top of the batter, sprinkle cinnamon over top. Bake at 400°F. for 40 to 50 minutes, or until the top is puffy and medium brown in color. Note: If using fresh peaches, substitute milk or fruit juice for syrup/liquid from canned peaches. Submitted by: Stephanie Yard |
