SOFT PEACH COBBLER 
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup peach syrup/liquid from can
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cup sliced peaches
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Melt butter and pour into a shallow 2 quart baking dish.

Combine all other ingredients except peaches and cinnamon and pour into the baking dish over the butter; DO NOT STIR. Layer peaches on the top of the batter, sprinkle cinnamon over top.

Bake at 400°F. for 40 to 50 minutes, or until the top is puffy and medium brown in color.

Note: If using fresh peaches, substitute milk or fruit juice for syrup/liquid from canned peaches.

When I cooked this I had to use milk and so I added about a 1/4 cup of sugar since I lost the sweet from the juice. It came out wonderful and with ice cream is devine. Very simple to make not a lot of fuss.
