1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 c. nuts (for topping)

With pastry cutter mix together butter, sugars and flour (set aside 3/4 cup of this for topping). To basic mix add buttermilk, soda and eggs. Place in loaf pan and top with reserved crumbs and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
