OREO COOKIE CAKE 
1 (15 oz.) pkg. Oreos
1 stick butter, melted
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar, packed
2 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
1 lg. chocolate instant pudding mix

Crush Oreos until you have coarse crumbs. (Reserve 1/4 cup for topping.) Add melted butter to all ingredients and mix well. Press into a 9 x 13 pan. Cream the cream cheese with electric mixer and add powdered sugar and beat well. Fold in Cool Whip and mix well. Spread mixture on top of crust. Let chill for 30 minutes. (Mix pudding with 2 1/2 cups milk.) Spread on top of cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with remaining Oreos and chill 1 hour before serving.
