OREO COOKIE REFRIGERATOR CAKE 
1 (1 1/4 lb.) pkg. Oreo cookies
2 sticks butter
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 c. confectioner sugar
2 (8 oz.) containers Cool Whip
1 (6 oz.) chocolate pudding mix

Crush cookies, reserve 1/2 cup. Pour melted butter over cookies; press this into a 13 x 9 dish. Refrigerate 15 minutes. Mix cream cheese, 1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip, and confectioners sugar. Spread over cookie crumbs crust, refrigerate. Prepare pudding per directions on box. Cool and spread over cream cheese layer. Let stand 15 minutes longer. Spread the other Cool Whip over pudding. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top layer. Cover tightly and refrigerate.
