CRUSHED PRETZEL SALAD 
2 2/3 c. coarsely crushed pretzels
3 tbsp. white sugar
3/4 c. butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. white sugar
1 carton Cool Whip
1 pkg. strawberry Jello
1 lg. pkg. frozen strawberries
2 c. boiling water more flavorful if pineapple juice is used

Cream sugar and butter. Add pretzels. Press into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Set aside to cool.

Cream sugar and cream cheese then fold in Cool Whip. Spread on cooled crust.

In another bowl pour 2 cups boiling water or pineapple juice over strawberry Jello. When dissolved add frozen strawberries and stir. When slightly thickened pour over cream cheese layer. Chill overnight. Serves 10.
