TACO CASSEROLE 
1 bag of taco chips
1/2 lb. ground meat (your choice), browned and crumbly
1 container of light sour cream
1 bottle of Pace medium picante sauce
1 1/2 cup shredded light Cheddar
Casserole dish for baking
Shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, sliced black olives as topping

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Layer in casserole dish the following: crushed taco chips, ground meat, sour cream, picante sauce, shredded Cheddar. Repeat the layers until dish is filled. Cover with foil. Bake in oven until mixture is bubbly, about 30 minutes. Serve with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes and sliced black olives as a topping.

This was unbelievably good. I did omit the sour cream in the Casserole and served it on the side (not everyone in the family likes sour cream)and I also added a package of taco seasoning. It was great thanks for sharing the recipe.

I added my picante sauce right to the meat so it would all meld together when ready to eat. I used all my sour cream in the recipe and didn't have any left to use as topping. Wished I would have saved some out as it was kinda dry but still good. I also added about 1/2 pkg of taco seasoning.
