MEXICAN TACO CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 env. taco seasoning
1 lg. bottle taco sauce
1 can chopped chilies
1 can refried beans
1 can black olives
1 bag Doritos, crushed
12 oz. shredded cheese
1 carton sour cream

Brown meat and onions, drain. Add next 5 ingredients and mix well. Put half of Doritos in greased 13 x 9 casserole dish. Top with meat mixture. Add olives and other half of Doritos. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Add cheese on top and bake 5 minutes more. Top with sour cream to serve. Serves 10 to 12.

I tryed this recipe tonight and it was yummy! I didnt have enough taco sauce on hand though so i used half a bottle of taco sauce and half a jar of salsa and it turned out very well! Thank you for sharing the recipe!

My husband and son love this recipe although it is sky high in sodium. i cut the taco sauce down to half a jar and it still came out just fine. Overall, good taste but if you're watching salt intake, this is not for you.

To avoid the high sodium, you could make the refried beans from scratch instead of canned and instead of using packaged taco seasoning, you could use individual spices. I think most of the salt content is coming from the Doritos.
