PECAN PIE BARS 
3 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt

FILLING:

4 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. light Karo syrup
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. butter
2 1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 1/2 c. sugar

Grease 15"x10"x1" pan. Prepare crust in mixer. Press firmly into pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. In a large bowl, stir eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla. Stir in pecans. Spread over hot crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until set.
