APPLE-PEACH OR CHERRY PIE BARS 
Mix:

2 1/2 c. flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. lard (shortening)
2 egg yolks and milk to make 2/3 c.

Add to flour mixture. Roll out half of dough - put in large jelly roll pan (1 cup corn flakes on top of crust for cherry bars).

12 apples (or more) or peaches
1 1/2 c. sugar (or less)
1/4 to 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt

Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 30 minutes, or until done.
