BAKED STUFFED PEPPERS | |
10 med. size peppers Stuffing 5 tbsp. oil 1 1/2 teaspoons salt Wash 10 medium sized peppers and cut off the stem top with knife and take out seed part. Stuff with Pepper Stuffing below. Put 3 tablespoons oil in a baking pan and put in the stuffed peppers sideways. Pour 2 tablespoons oil over them and sprinkle with 1 1/2 teaspoons salt. Bake at 350°F degrees, for 35-40 minutes, uncovered. PEPPER STUFFING: 1/4 lb. stale bread 3 eggs 3 tbsp. grated Italian cheese 2 level tsp. salt 1/4 level tsp. pepper Soak in water 3/4 pound stale bread until soft. Squeeze out water well and place in bowl. Add 3 eggs, grated Italian cheese, 2 level teaspoons salt and 1/4 level teaspoon pepper. |
