BUTTERSCOTCH BROWNIES 
1 egg
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped nuts

In saucepan, cook 1/4 cup butter and 1 cup brown sugar until dissolved; cool slightly then add above ingredients. Pour into greased and floured 8 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
