1 tsp. vanilla
2 sticks butter
1 c. dark brown sugar, packed
2 c. flour, sifted
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. nuts, chopped

Combine first 3 ingredients; add remaining ingredients. Spread in jelly roll pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
