BLONDE BROWNIES 
1 1/3 c. shortening (1/2 butter)
2 (1 lb.) boxes dark brown sugar
6 eggs
3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
2 c. chopped walnuts
1 lg. pkg. chocolate chips

Bake 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. Use double size rectangle pan. Half recipe for regular 9 x 13 inch pan.
