SNICKERDOODLE COOKIES | |
1 1/2 cups sugar 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 2 eggs 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened 2 tsp. cream of tartar For the coating: 2 tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon Mix ingredients in the order given. Chill dough for at least 2 hours. Roll dough balls the size of walnuts. Roll mixture in 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Space the cookies 2-inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400°F for 8 to 10 minutes. Serve warm with milk. Submitted by: KG |
