CHOCOLATE KISS PEANUT BUTTER
COOKIES

2 2/3 c. all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 sticks butter, softened (1 c.)
2/3 c. creamy peanut butter, room temperature
1 c. sugar
1 c. light or dark brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
Granulated sugar
5 dozen foiled wrapped Hershey kisses

Sift flour with baking soda and salt; set aside. In large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed beat butter and peanut butter until well blended. Add both cups of sugar. Beat until light and fluffy.

Add eggs and vanilla; beat until smooth. Stir in flour mixture until well combined. Using a level tablespoon for each, shape into 5 dozen balls. Roll each in granulated sugar.

Place 2 inches apart, on ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 7-9 minutes. Remove from oven. Remove foil wrapper from kisses and press one into top of each cookie. Bake 2 minutes longer.

Remove cookies to wire rack - let cool completely.
