FROSTY STRAWBERRY SQUARES 
1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. melted butter
2 egg whites
1 c. granulated sugar
2 c. sliced fresh strawberries
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 c. Cool Whip

Or use 1 (10 oz.) package frozen berries, partially thawed; reduce sugar to 2/3 cup.

Stir together first 4 ingredients, spread evenly in shallow baking pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle 2/3 of crumbs in 9x13x2 inch pan.

Combine egg whites, sugar, berries, and lemon juice in large bowl. Beat at high speed to stiff peaks, about 10 minutes. Fold in Cool Whip. Spoon over crumbs. Top with remaining crumbs. Freeze 6 hours or overnight. Cut in squares.
