HALLOWEEN MARSHMALLOW POPCORN BALLS | |
1/2 lb. unsalted popcorn 2 (10 oz.) bags mini marshmallows 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter 2 boxes Reese's Pieces candies* Pop popcorn in deep pot over medium high heat. While popcorn pops take a large bowl add both bags of marshmallows and entire stick of butter. Put in microwave for one minute. Stir and repeat until creamy and thick. Add candies to marshmallow mixture. Put popcorn in another large bowl. Pour marshmallow mixture over hot popcorn. Grease hands with butter and carefully coat all of the popcorn with marshmallows (be careful not to burn your hands). Regrease hands and form popcorn into balls. Regrease hands every other ball to prevent sticking to your hands. Place popcorn balls in plastic wrap or cupcake paper cups. Let cool and serve!
