PERFECT POPCORN BALLS 
These popcorn balls will keep their shape but remain soft and easy to chew. Great for kids of all ages!

20 cups popped popcorn (approx. 3 bags if microwave-style)
2 cups white sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
2 tsp. white vinegar
1-2 drops food coloring

Sort popcorn, discard any unpopped kernels. Pour popcorn into 3 large mixing bowls or two 9x13-inch pans and set aside.

Into a large saucepan combine sugar, syrup and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture comes to a full boil. Remove immediately from heat. Add vinegar and food coloring, stir well. Pour evenly over popcorn and stir. Let cool for a few minutes, butter hands and shape into balls.
