NO BAKE BUTTER BALLS 
2/3 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. water
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. uncooked rolled oats
Chopped nuts, colored sugar, chocolate jimmies, or coconut
Candied cherries, chocolate pieces, cinnamon candies or pecan halves

Beat butter until creamy; add sugar; beat well. Add water, vanilla and oats; blend well. Chill. Shape into small balls. Roll in chopped nuts, colored sugar, chocolate jimmies, or coconut. Decorate with candied cherries, chocolate pieces, cinnamon candies or pecan halves. Store in refrigerator. Makes 3 dozen. NOTE: For chocolate butter balls, add 3 tablespoon cocoa to dough.
