MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/3 c. cocoa
1 c. chopped nuts
1 sm. jar marshmallow creme
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs and beat by hand. Sift flour, salt, cocoa and add to above. Mix and add vanilla and nuts. Bake 30-35 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and spread with marshmallow creme. Return to oven and melt. Cool.

FROSTING:

2 sticks butter
1/3 c. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. sweetened condensed milk
4 c. powdered sugar

Sift sugar and cocoa. Mix well with melted butter. Add condensed milk, nuts and vanilla. Spread on cooled cake.
