EASY NO KNEAD BREAD 
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp. salt
2 pkgs. dry yeast (or equivalent)
1 cup water
1 cup milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 egg
butter (to brush on baked loaf)

Combine first 4 dry ingredients in a large mixer bowl. Heat next 3 ingredients in a saucepan over low heat until warm. Add egg and warm liquid to combined flour mixture. Blend at lowest speed until moistened, then beat 3 minutes at medium speed. By hand, stir in another 2 1/2 cups flour to form a stiff batter. Cover dough; let rise in a warm place until light and doubled. Stir dough down; spoon into greased 9x5-inch loaf pan or 2-quart deep round casserole.

Bake at 375°F for 45 to 50 minutes or until loaf sounds hollow when tapped. Remove immediately; brush with butter.
