1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. butter flavored Crisco
3/4 c. good quality vegetable oil
1 egg
1 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. chocolate chips

Combine sugars, Crisco and oil. Beat until creamy with electric mixer. Add egg, milk and vanilla. Beat well. Add chocolate chips.

Place batter by teaspoonful on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 375 degree oven 10- 13 minutes. On warmer days add 1/2 teaspoon more cream of tartar and baking soda.
