YUMMY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
3/4 c. butter flavor Crisco
1 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla

Blend until creamy. Blend in 1 egg. Gradually blend in 1 3/4 cup self-rising flour. Stir in:

1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. pecan pieces

Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough 3 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 325 degrees 8-10 minutes for chewy cookies, 11-13 minutes for crisp cookies. Cool on baking sheet 2 minutes before removing to cooling rack.

NOTE: If nuts are omitted, add an additional 1/2 cup of chocolate chips.
