2 cups sugar
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
10 large marshmallows (or 80 mini)
1/2 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate pieces
walnuts

Cook sugar, milk, marshmallows, vanilla, salt and butter in heavy saucepan for 6 minutes.

Put chocolate pieces in large bowl and pour hot mixture over them. Beat until well blended and creamy.

Drop by teaspoon on waxed paper and press one nut on each piece.

Makes 25 to 30 servings.
