This frosting is delicious and quick & easy to prepare... I put this on my favorite 9 x 9 chocolate cake recipe and it is the perfect amount to cover the top with a nice thick layer. Thanks so much for posting and sharing. No need to keep searching and trying other recipes as this is the one for me!

I prepared this icing for my youngest's birthday and because of six screaming children I forget to add the milk. It had a good texture and tasted fine, but will it hurt it later when I try to put it on my cake??

This is a great, super easy recipe. I took the advice in the reviews and used heavy cream (not milk) and a dash of salt(used unsalted butter) and wow!! Smooth, creamy and delicious. However, I did have to double it to frost my 9 inch, two layer cake. Will definitely use it again.

This was simply amazing! Best hint that I can add is keep mixing, and when you think that you are done, keep mixing. It makes a world of difference!

Glaze is something you drizzle on cinnamon rolls, etc. Icing is smooth and can be used on cakes. Frosting stands in peaks and is also used on cakes. I learned that over 30 years ago when I opened my own bakery.

I put it on brownies and decorated it really nice and it looked beautiful and tasted just as good. I used food coloring to get the grass look and I put little flowers on it. It was just beautiful! Thank you it was easy and fun to make!

This makes icing, not frosting, but it's still delicious! I added 1/4 cup of Nestlé coco powder to make chocolate icing. Easy and definitely worth it!
