FETTUCINI WITH LEEK SAUCE 
1 lb. leeks, washed thoroughly
1 lg. can peeled, diced tomatoes
1/2 to 3/4 lb. lean bacon
Salt and pepper
1 lb. fettucini, fresh is best

Fry bacon crispy. Cut leek (white part only) into circles. Saute with bacon. Remove bacon and crumble. Add back to pan with can of tomatoes and salt and pepper to taste.

Cook fettucini, drain. Pour leek mixture over. Takes about 10 minutes. Serves 4-6 as appetizer.
