TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
2 c. all purpose flour
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 stick butter
6 tbsp. milk or coffee
1 box powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix together dry in mixing bowl; flour and sugar. In saucepan cook to boiling; butter, cocoa, and water. Then add to flour mixture, mix with mixer. Add baking soda to buttermilk, then add to mixture. Add eggs, cinnamon, and vanilla. Pour into greased and floured cookie sheet with sides, or regular baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes for cookie sheet, 35 minutes for pan.

In same saucepan as before heat to boiling cocoa, milk, butter. Put powdered sugar in same mixing bowl, then add hot mixture and mix well, add vanilla. Spread on warm cake. Can top with chopped pecans or coconut.
