MAPLE-DRIZZLED APPLE MUFFINS | |
1 1/2 c. flour 1 c. oatmeal 1/2 c. sugar 1 tbsp. baking powder 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. milk 1/3 c. butter, melted 1/4 c. syrup 2 egg whites, slightly beaten 1 c. apples, chopped Pecan halves GLAZE: 3 tbsp. powdered sugar 1 tbsp. syrup Combine first 5 ingredients, mix well. Add combined milk, butter, syrup and egg whites, mix just until moistened. Gently stir in apples. Top each with pecan halves. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool slightly and glaze. |
