CORN COB JELLY 
1 doz. bright red corn cobs (field corn)
3 pts. water
1 pkg. Sure Jell
3 c. sugar

Boil broken cobs in water 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from heat and strain liquid. If not 3 cups, add enough water to make 3 cups. Add Sure Jell and bring to a rolling boil. Add sugar and boil 2 to 3 minutes or until jelly stage. Pour into jelly glasses and seal with paraffin. Makes 5 (8 ounce) jars.
