CORN ON THE COB | |
Corn on the cob Salt Soft butter Usually one corn per person. Amount depends on people eating. Place cleaned corn on the cob into a large pot. Cover with cold water. Omit salt (it tends to toughen the corn). Bring just to a boil and then let the ears stand in boiling water a few minutes. Eat at once with plenty of soft butter and salt to taste. |
