CORN COB JELLY 
7 corn cobs, dried, shelled field corn
2 qt. water
2 boxes Sure-Jell
5 c. sugar

Boil 7 corn cobs in 2 quarts water for 20 minutes to make corn cob tea. Strain tea through a filter (coffee filter, cheesecloth, dish towel, etc.). Combine 5 cups tea (add water to make full amount, if needed) with 2 boxes of Sure-Jell in large pan. Bring to rolling boil, stirring constantly. Add 5 cups sugar; bring back to boil. Boil for 2 minutes, remove foam, then ladle into jars. Makes 7 (8 oz.) jelly jars.
