BANANA - NUT BREAD | |
1/2 c. shortening or butter 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 c. mashed ripe bananas (2 sm.) 1/4 c. chopped nuts 2 c. all purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and beat well. Stir in mashed bananas and mix well. Stir in nuts, sift dry ingredients and stir in. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Yield: 1 loaf. |
